“For in him all things were created…”

From the Networks cyberforum:

Like the choreography of a beautiful dance, the different ministries of God’s dance partners in the church are working together to bring God’s plan to fruition. God wants to dance with us.” (Brian Johnson – ‘Come Dance with Me’)

Susanna’s response takes the form of a dance:

For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. (Colossians 1:16)

I have had the joy of dancing ‘for him’ for 23 years and this dance gives praise to Jesus and glory to his Father.

At the end of December 2015 Bill Hiskett beautifully filmed this liturgical dance, where I was thrilled to be joined by two of my Bharatanatyam students. We are interpreting the lyrics which express praises and devotion to Jesus, and being filled with the Holy Spirit.

Filmed in St Andrew’s Parish Church in Halstead, Essex.

This is the fifth of Susanna’s South Asian liturgical dance videos.
